Website Photo Tips

TEAM PHOTOS:

When taking a Team Photo for the Freedom FC website, please follow the general guidelines below.  There are certain photo dimension posting requirements for team photos.

*  Be sure your team looks professional.

*  Take notice of the background.  No cars, porta-potties or other distractions in the background !!  Team photos do not need to be taken in front of a goal or net.

* Players shirts should all be tucked in and ALL players dressed alike.

*  Do not zoom in too close.  The best part of digital photography is that you can always crop in closer on the computer!!

*  Please send the original, unaltered, uncropped, uncompressed, full resolution photograph.  I will do all the proper adjustments in a photo editor to prepare it for posting to the website.  Send the photo to the Freedom Webmaster.

PLAYER PHOTOS:

When taking Individual Player Photos for the Freedom FC website, please follow the general guidelines below.

* Take notice of the background. No cars, porta-potties or other distractions in the background !!

* Players shirts should all be tucked in and ALL players dressed alike.  All individual photos should look the same.

* Do not zoom in too close. Shoot in Portrait mode (camera tilted 90 degrees) rather than Landscape mode.  The beauty of digital photography is that you can always crop in closer on the computer!!  Photos should be taken of the player from the waist up.  Ideally, the final cropped photo should include all of the uniform shirt.  Again....Do NOT zoom in too close.  This can be done later on a PC if necessary....the further away you shoot, the better !!

* Please send the original, unaltered, uncropped, uncompressed, full resolution photos.  If you can change each file name to the Players last name, that would be great (i.e. Smith.jpg). I will do all the proper adjustments in a photo editor to prepare it for posting to the website. Send the photos to the Freedom FC Webmaster.  Due to file sizes, you may need to send multiple e-mails with only a few photos attached to each e-mail.  Some Internet Providers limit the size and amount of files you can attach to an e-mail.
